Bodhi is BodhVika's AI assistant, built on Google's Gemini API. This page explains what Bodhi is, and isn't.
What Bodhi is
- A curated assistant scoped to BodhVika, its three pillars, and AI-in-education topics.
- Grounded in approved BodhVika information — it is instructed to say when it doesn't know something rather than invent an answer.
- A navigation and enquiry aid — it can point you to the right page or form, but genuine requests are still handled by our enquiry and Store systems, not by Bodhi acting alone.
What Bodhi is not
- Not a general-purpose chatbot — it will decline requests unrelated to BodhVika or education.
- Not a source of professional, legal, medical or educational-compliance advice.
- Not able to access private, Admin, or another visitor's data — it has none of that available to it.
Data handling
Your messages to Bodhi are sent to Google's Gemini API to generate a reply and are not stored by BodhVika. We log only aggregate, non-identifying counters (for example, whether a reply errored) to monitor reliability.
Limitations
Like any AI system, Bodhi can occasionally be wrong or produce an incomplete answer. Verify anything important, especially factual claims about BodhVika itself, against the rest of this website or by contacting us directly.
Safety
Bodhi is instructed to resist attempts to extract its underlying instructions, reveal credentials, or act outside its intended scope. If you notice Bodhi behaving unexpectedly, please let us know through the General enquiry form.
